Jayir is an online marketplace operated by Jayir Global Private Limited. Our platform connects customers with independent tribal artisans, designers, and indigenous entrepreneurs across India.
This Shipping, Returns & Refunds Policy outlines how orders, returns, and refunds are handled on Jayir. As a marketplace, each product is fulfilled directly by the makers (seller). Jayir facilitates the platform but is not the manufacturer or direct seller of products.
By shopping on Jayir, you agree to the terms outlined below.
2. Shipping Policy
2.1 Who Ships the Products?
All products listed on Jayir are shipped by individual vendors. The name of the vendor is visible on each product page. Vendors are responsible for the packaging, dispatch, and delivery of their items.
2.2 Estimated Delivery Times
Dispatch and delivery timelines vary depending on the vendor’s location and logistics partner. Most products are shipped within 3–7 working days, unless otherwise mentioned.
Made-to-order or handcrafted items may take longer — this will be clearly stated on the product page.
2.3 Shipping Charges
- Shipping charges are determined by vendors and will be visible at checkout.
- Some vendors may offer free shipping. Others may charge a nominal fee based on weight, size, or distance.
2.4 Delivery Areas
- Most vendors ship across India.
- International shipping is offered by select vendors and will be stated explicitly on product listings.
2.5 Tracking
Once your order is shipped, a tracking number will be shared via email or SMS (if provided by the vendor). You can also view tracking details under “My Orders.”
2.6 Delays
While we strive for timely delivery, unforeseen delays can occur due to courier issues, remote locations, or natural disruptions. Jayir is not liable for such delays, but we are happy to support in case of non-delivery or repeated issues.
3. Return & Refund Policy
3.1 Jayir Default Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident shopping on Jayir. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or refund under the conditions below.
✅ Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests will be considered only if:
- The item is damaged, defective, or not as described
- The wrong item was received
- The item was not delivered
Conditions:
- Request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
- Item must be unused, in original condition, with tags and packaging intact
❌ Non-Refundable Items
- Custom-made or personalised products
- Digital downloads, perishables, or time-bound goods
- Items returned without prior approval
🔁 Return & Refund Process
- Initiate Return: Log in to your Jayir account and select the order to request a return.
- Upload Proof: If the item is damaged/defective, provide clear photos as evidence.
- Vendor Review: The vendor will review the request. If approved:
- Return shipping instructions will be sent
- A refund will be initiated once the item is received and verified
- Refund Timeline: Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days
💡 Important Notes
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless:
- The product is defective, damaged, or incorrect
- Refunds will not be issued for products returned without prior authorisation
- Refunds are subject to the vendor’s confirmation that the item is in its original condition
4. Vendor-Specific Policies
This is Jayir’s default refund policy. However, individual vendors may offer their own shipping or return terms, including:
- Extended return periods
- Store credits instead of refunds
- Exchange-only policies
Such policies will be clearly stated on the vendor’s storefront or product page. Where vendor policies are stricter than Jayir’s, Jayir’s default policy will apply.
5. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch.
- Once an order is marked as shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
- To cancel, go to “My Orders” and submit a cancellation request. You can also email support@jayir.com with your order ID.
6. Missing or Undelivered Orders
If your order hasn’t arrived within 15 days of shipping and tracking is unavailable, please contact us at support@jayir.com. We will coordinate with the vendor and logistics partner to resolve the issue.
If the item is confirmed as undelivered, you are eligible for a full refund.
