“The Naga headhunters are a historical group hailing from the Naga tribes of northeastern India. Renowned for their fierce warrior culture, the Naga headhunters engaged in the traditional practice of taking the heads of their enemies as trophies. This practice was not only a display of bravery and strength but also held deep cultural and spiritual significance within their society. Headhunting expeditions were seen as rites of passage for young men and were believed to bring prosperity and protection to their villages. The Naga headhunters were skilled in guerilla warfare and were feared by neighboring tribes and colonial powers alike for their ferocity in battle.
